Problems starting after filling petrol tank

hey, it's not my car that has this problem but i became really interested when i heard about it. The complaint is that after filling up the tank with petrol the car would take 3 or 4 goes to get it started, then run perfectly fine until next time they filled up.
Any ideas?

Sounds like rubbish in the tank is getting through to the throttle body. Is the car filled up when its completely empty or near empty? Try filling it up when its on half or quarter of a tank then see if it still does it. What it might pay to do is clean fuel lines & fuel tank as well then see what happens
