VT Commodore Exec Series II
Hey guys,

I have something strange going on with my 2001 VT series II (auto V6) when ever I am easing in to the accelerator going between 75-80 kph at around 2k RPM and going from 3rd (pretty sure) it is there seems to be a thud thud thud thud noise that comes through the floor I cant seem to put my finger on it.....it's kind of giving me the shits.

Anyone got any idea what this could be?

Could be.... Loose cross-member bolts or worn trans-mount (if it is the trans-mount then it would pay to check engine mounts too)

Same noise problem in my early VT was solved by installing a low Ks transmission. No more noise. I hope for your sake it is something simpler (and cheaper) Cost me $200 for trans and $200 for instal
