Hey guys, when I compress the brake peddle I hear a "pshh" sound. I still brake perfectly fine and its only when I fully compress the peddle. It sort of sounds like I'm using a foot pump. The sound is only faint and as cute as the little sound is, I don't want my brakes to be bad.
Any clue? Normal brake sound? Fully sick brake turbo?
air in the brake lines?! =S
i think mine does a little "pshh" sound.. not sure
Pretty sure its normal... but don't quote me. if you turn of your engine and pump the break you will hear about the same sound...
sweet, thanks guys
Mine doesn't do that. And for some reason I'm the odd one out
Can you reproduce the sound when the car is stationary?
Coming from under the bonnet where the brake booster/master cylinder is located?
Could be the seal in the booster, they do deteriorate over time and will eventually leak

i'd keep checking your fluid level everyday to see if its getting low.
if its still staying the same level of fluid, i gess its just normal. but none of my cars have the sound???
have you recently changed your fliud, it could be air in the lines.

I have slotted and drilled rotors and they make a ticking sort of a sound, are yours std?
