My car has developed a habit of rubbing while corning at moderate speeds. I have kings super low and Monroe reflex short shocks. And stock 17 rims and 225/ 55 r16 tyres. It doesn't have to be at full lock the rub but speed definitely makes differences.
From my best knowledge the front is rubbing the inside of the guard
Are my tyres to big? It can't be the ride height because its nowhere near as low as some of your cars out there
Any ideas
This is a repost as it was originally in general but I guess it belongs here more
correct me if im wrong, but 225/55 r16 tyres wont fit onto a 17" rim
yea sorry mate im mistaken I got the 16s on atm
have you rolled your front guards?
it shouldnt rub, ive got 245 35 r 19's on with super low pedders n shocks and i dont have any problems
check to make sure your wheel arch liner is in tact and sitting correctly
Yea its fine and intact. I'm actually pretty sure now its the back left wheel. And also that tyres is completely bald and its only 4months old ! It's booked in at ultra tune this week to get checked out for a few thing so they can check it out then
solved mine with a drill to the guard and moved it back an secured it 1/2 inch. got sick of people staring at me wen i'd take sharp turns in carparks
Was it the back or front that was rubbing for u
