Hey guys, I have a VXSS (auto) that I love and enjoy to drive.
I recently drove a VYSS manual, and it drove absolutely perfectly - fast precise, i just had a totally different experience driving it, and was left thinking about why mine didnt have the same effect??
It wasnt just because it was a manual, or someone else car, i drove it as i would do my own but it just went better. My SS has baby blue pacemakers, and a sports exhaust.. just like the VYSS i drove.
Im just wondering if you guys have made any adjustments to your cars and what it did for performance, i dont mind spending a little money on my car. Would it just be a case of Tune-Ups and getting the timing done, full servicing or is there something else i can do? Id like get some feedback before i just go ahead and waste money!
Cheers lads. J

i'd say driving the ss in a manual makea a little bit of a difference in how it drives and how it feels to you.. as you have an auto ss.
try getting a mafless tune or even better a cam of some sort
but you know you want forced induction![]()
Mafless tune and a OTR. looking at about $800-$1000 for the tune an any where from $300-$650 for an OTR.With the mod's you have looking at between 220RWKW an 240RWKW.
Take it easy...But do take it...
Do not argue with an IDIOT.
He will just drag you down to his level an beat you with experience.
Some people take me the wrong way, Like smacking up Marijunna.
Mate apart from the manual transmission which free's up 10-15rwkw the VY SS has 3.46 diff gears to which it would feel like it gets up and goes with minimal effort
I suggest a mafless tune/otr and diff gear change you will be astounded at the difference
also maybe look at flashing the 4L60
it's a piece of shit but the s/w can be fixed to make it shift better
its pretty much a given.
he asked performance though
poor DM
10
besides it'd be somewhat performance enhancing,, lower equals less wind disturbance and greater aerodynamics therego better performance and better fuel economy,,, win win, coz the car looks better aswell :P
Its lowered with pedders springs lol

I think im going to have the tune and OTR intake done, this should make a fair difference...

i sold my auto series2 vt ss for a manual vx ss and i never looked back. so much more lively. put a higher diff in for your auto if you are gonna keep it though.
I love my 4L60. I even removed my t56 to put it in. Drive it with a 3000 or larger stall, and have your final drive ratio at 3.9:1 or greater, and you will love it, as you walk past all the "awesome" manual cars.
