Help please: VT Commodore won't start

Hi

My VT won't start It cranks fine but won't actually start.

I've checked the fault codes, and get:
46 - Crank angle reference signal (engine will not start)

Replaced the CAS about 6 months ago and it's been fine ever since. Last time it progressively got worse, but that hasn't happened this time.

Any ideas? Where should I start looking? I'm kind of a noob with car fixing, but trying to learn.

the harmonic balancer fins could have damaged the new cas even the hold
was it a ongoing problem or just happend in oneday
