Default How to- vt pw switch led

How to- vt pw switch led-dscf1235.jpgHi guys thought id help afew people out with changing the power window switch lights to LED,
    Tools:
    Wire cutters
    Flat screw driver
    soldering iron
    Solder Flux
    4x 3mm LED(colour)
4x resistors to suit 12volt (jaycar)
    ----------------------------------------------------------
Pull your Front power window switch out of the car(big white plug under it)

use a flap screw driver and gently push the plastic clips in (Should be 4 clips)

GENTLY push the 4 buttons downward to remove the buttons and switches (leave child lock alone) it has the abilty to break easy

After the Board and buttons are out using a thin screw driver along side each button prise the sides alittle to lift them out.

Under each button you will see Little Green LEDs ,using a pair of wire cutters cut the standed light out and soilder the new LED and Resistor in (Check photo for details)

Do 1 light then test to make sure it lights up.

Thats about all i can think of if ive missed anything ill fill it in later
    Hope this helps Guys/Girls
Real cars don't power the front wheels, they lift them

you dont need to put in the resistors they are already there because the green lights you pull out are leds. i only finished mine off a few days ago, its much easier if you turn the board over and heat up the solder where the green led prongs go thru and with other hand pull the led globe, then all i did with the new led's (blue) was slide them over the plastic guide and thru the board and touched up a bit of solder and trimmed off excess prong on underside.
