Default Do i need a engineers cert?

Hey guys, got a local wrecker who says he can give me a complete vx ss wreck fairly cheap for a straight swap conversion for my vx s.
after the conversion would i need a engineers certificate for legalities?

As long as you have vx brakes, and setup all your emissions like the SS, you simply just roll into vicroads, with receipt, engine number etc, They will check to see if you have upgraded brakes, and the emissions gear.

An you are good to go.

    Cheers

As far as i am aware the front brakes on all VX modals are Twin pots just like the SS modals, And so long as mentioned all the Emission la de da stuff is fitted should be gold. Just let Vic roads of the new engine number :-)

We did a V8 swap into a v6 calais with the expectation of needing the certs but didnt (as mentioned above) because that model car came out with the same engine fitted. (nsw)

The only thing you need to change are the front springs, everything else is the same.
