    Default 225 30 20 tyres

hi guys, will 225 30 20 tyres be alright for a vx ss with standed suspension? A few people said get 245 30 20 but im not sure if they will scrub or not. 1 shop said there to wide and another said they will be fine. just dont want and scrubbing.

If 245's will fit can not see any reason 225's won't.
Im assuming you have asked about 245's at the tire company?

225's will be to narrow for the rim, the lowest you should go is 235 which should be the standard width on your vx ss, you may run into trouble with scrubbing on front and back with 245... i think

225's will NOT have appropriate load rating for your VX, defectable and insurance will be void.

If i can run 245's on SSL's you sure as hell can run them on FE2's.

If it isnt tuckin, it must be suckin

225's WILL have the right load rating, as long as they are 35 profile, 30's are too thin, check the tyres before you buy them for the correct load rating
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
