They made VP SS V6's as well.

Actually if you visit the RedBook website and look up 'Holden Commodore' for the year '1999' you will find the specs listed for 'Holden Commodore VT SS' and on the next line 'VT SS Sedan 4 Door Auto 3.8S". The 3.8 litre supercharged V6 version of the SS was only available with the series one. Once series two was released, the V8 got an upgrade to the Gen 3 5.7 litre rather than the aussie 5 litre and the super 6 was dropped - from then on no longer available powering the SS models

so its the same supercharged 6 motor a normal vt /vx/vy have? is that right? im just trying to think/picture of the diffrence the car would have to normal.

the ecotec L67 engine(as with other models but with a factory supercharged6 added) they came out with the extra option instead of the V8...there where not that many made in the VT as people preferred the 5lt or the later GENIII of course been aussies n lovin our 8's lol I have the same VT SS super6

they were a series 1 vt option 5l or super 6 in perth ive seen twice as many super 6 vtss than 5l's they are also really cheap too. and with 235rwkw thats very close to a 11 sec pass a mate has one with 200rwkw and did a 12.2
