    Default VT diffs and ABS

The diff in my VT whines pretty bad. Can get a second hand one pretty cheap (single pegger, same as wats in it now), but I can get hold of a VP IRS LSD diff pretty cheap...only thing is it doesn't have ABS. Can I convert the VP diff to ABS? I dunno if it's something that can be changed over or whether it's a part of the actual housing.

    Anyoe know?

i think the abs sensors are in a bolt-on bracket, and if your output flanges where the axles bolt on have teeth around the outside (for the sensors to read) it should work ok

4 banger turbos with bov's will just cry when they hear it, because they can never have it.

The VP diff doesn't have the teeth on the output flanges (the car it come out of didn't have ABS), is there anyway to change that or would I just be better off finding a diff with ABS?

as dirt drifter said, your sensors bolt on and use your own output flanges of your drive shafts, and should be good.

Was just reading one of the manuals I got and it says the following about removing the output flanges...

    CAUTION:
If V6 engined vehicle is fitted with LSD, do not
rotate the opposite axle shaft, as side gear and
clutch cone splines will become misaligned.
Then the axle shaft cannot be reinstalled
    without removing differential case, dismantling
and realigning gear and cone splines.
    NOTE:
The above ‘Caution’ does not apply to the V8 or V6
supercharged engine final drives, because the side
gear and LSD cone is an integrated component.
My diff has been replaced before, and I assume it's a stock NA 6 open diff, so I guess the output flanges WON'T be interchangeable between my diff and the VP LSD diff.

Might just be throwing another single pegger diff in there I rekon lol.
