    Default gauges

    hey guys, i have a 2002 vu and i was wondering how much drama it would be to put in a set of vy, vz binnacle gauges?

    or even if its possible to do to a 2002 vu

    no i dont think you can... where would you mount them lol

    if you have a single din cd player you can put a set of gauges underneath it?

    you still can with a double din just put them where the storage unit is, thats where my airbag ones are going

    Here is another option: VT VX Commodore Dual Pillar Gauge Mount - Direct Fit | eBay
    You need to buy gauges aswell

    yeah apparently you cant have anything sitting above the top of your steering wheel... so them gauges sit above it and are illegal. not sure if thats the case for other states.

    no its not lol but its not hard for a police officer to see it when hes talking to you. whereas other things are less obvious

    dont get me wrong if i see anyone who has one im not gonna say "bro thats illegal you cant have it" i will tell them it looks hectic :P

    i think they look tacky..... could b moulded much better and closer 2 the pillar if more time was spent on them.

    yeah those specific gauges look terrible!! i have seen others that blend in quite well

    i was talkin about the mounts not the actual gauges either lol. if i were 2 get such gauges id make the dial facias match the same colour as the clusters aswell as lighting.

    fwiw: You can get Autometer gauges cheap as chips on Ebay.

    I just got a 15 inch shift light tacho for the race car for $100, brand new in the box.

    Pretty good value I reckon.
