I would be looking at the stalk first, because the wipers works on the first setting, so the motor seems ok.

how would i find out if the stalks working fine or not?

its like the wipers get to stressed out and just stop lol. i wanna get this fixed before i start driving in 2 weeks because its dangerous when its pissing down with rain and you can only see every 3-4 seconds :P

I'm not real sure on how to test the switch but if I had the prblem I would put the wipers on a higher speed and use a multimeter or test lamp to see if there is power to the wiper motor, if there is then that would tell me the motor is stuffed. If there is no power to the motor then the motor is ok and I would lean towards the stalk as the problem.

Yes, just swap with one of the same type.

had a fiddle around with my car just before and i realised that level 2 works just fine, its just the level 1 that stops mid wipe.. i have never put it to level 2 because i figured it didnt work either :P

changed the relay's around and there wasnt one with 5 pins like the wiper one has? changed it over anyway but that didnt fix the issue

but if level 2 works just fine i'd say its the wiper stalk yes?
