Having a hard time locating a coolant leak on my 99 VT which as far as I can tell is right behind the upper right side of water pump and I'm losing about a liter every few minutes (not running)when I top up the radiator with water. No emulsified oil in the engine or cooling system. Hoses OK. Changed water pump cuz it sounded like sh*t when I checked it(2 broken fins)but no difference in leak. Removed idler pulleys and water pump pulley to see if I could get a better look using mirrors, but still stumped.Could the timing cover gasket be shot, and if so how much should that run me to fix?
Thanks again for any info/advice..
