Water leaking into rear footwell

Ive got water leaking into the rear passanger footwell of my WH Stato whenever it rains heavy. Know of one other VY wagon that does the same. Anyone got a solution or theroy?. Plan to keep my stato for a long time so need to get it fixed. Cheers

ive got a similar leak in my boot on a vx sedan, anyone had the same issue?

it's a very common problem, it's the seal on the small window in the rear door usually in the left/right bottom corner

it leaks past the window seal and then through the door seal into the footwell

My VY was doing this on one back door. I found the plastic seal behind the coor card was damaged and poorly attached so I removed it and re applied it using windscreen sealant but it started to leak again so I bought a new one and replaced it using spray adhesive to attach it and it has not leaked since however I have seen water sitting in the crease of the door seal at the bottom.
The fixed glass in the rear doors in a VY is not sealed from the inside of the door at the bottom at all. My VY had a lot of sponge rubber around this window on the inside so I took it out as it just holds water.
Funny thing is though the other rear door has never leake at all.
I'd go and buy a new plastic seal from Holden and glue it on and see how it goes. They are not very expensive.
