need help asap pls help with ignition

hi guys my car wont start i put the key in and the key barrel wont turn.its stuck for some reason.how can i get it started i need it start at any cost pls help

You probably need a new ignition barrel. Try spray some wd40 in it. Keep giving it a good wriggle, should start eventually.

my mate had the same problem with his vs. you will need the barrel either fixed or replaced.. general wear and tear i guess

or steering lock......................... jiggle wheel and turn at the same time, pulling the key slightly out of the barrel as you start to turn it...... wiered but you will get it

This happened to me on my Wl stato a week after I bought it, drove me insane cause I had never heard of such thing to happen. Lol later finding out it was sort of a common problem.
Anyway,
If you aren't able to get it started you will have to get a locksmith to come to ur house and change the ignition barrel for you. Will cost you roughly $220.
I was able to get mine started, if ur with racv they have a trick they do, to start the engine so u can drive down to a lock smith. Shuld cost u bout $120.

This may sound stupid but make sure ur car is in park, just a hint.
