    Default Lowering Ute

Okay, so i'm lowering the VU with superlows on the front & ssl on the rear.

I'm keeping the stock 15" interceptors on as I'm happy with their look.

I've read plenty on camber kits, but can't really find an answer, will it be suggested to get a camber kit even with 15s?

Also, hoping the sl & ssl ratio should keep the ute sitting quite even & guards just above tyres, can anyone confirm this please?

your ute is a series 2, you should be right without one. id still recommend one though, they are fairly cheap and will save you money in the long run

If it isnt tuckin, it must be suckin

Yeah get a camber to save money on tyres. and with ssl on the rear it will sit nice and even and the rear should tuck tyre with 15's.

    Thanks for the advice guys.

One other thing, I only really load up the ute with a dirtbike, sometimes 2 so is ssl going to cause a problem do you think?

    Cheers

not really, if it does you can look at polyair bags. so you can still be low and tow and shit.

A guy @ work has said going low on front & superlow on rear should be fine if I want to load up.

He reckons guards should still sit just above tyre level (I don't mind a little gap in there)

Would this setup look okay or still make the ute look too high off the tyre?

have a look at the guy at works ute and decide for yourself, if it was me id be going what you said before. low + superlow is way to high for my liking.

Thanks mate, it's not that I want to go real low, I just want to get rid of the 4x4 look I have with my ute on the stockies @ the moment.

I'd be happy if I had a little gap under each arch without having to put bags in also, hence why I thought my work mates suggestion of low and sl may have been ok.

At the end of the day I want to use it for carting bikes and stuff to the tip at times so I don't want it scrubbing tyres but I don't want to lower it with what he suggested and have a big gap!

I guess I can only figure it out if I try it as I can't find any pics of a similar setup!

check you vin plate. if it says FE2 you already have lows.
so therefore lows + superlows wouldnt change the height at the front, and would lower it an inch at the back.
