Default How to Remove Pillar Covers Next to Windscreen

    Hey all,
Just wondering if someone could give me a walk through on how to remove those pillar covers. I just want to make sure I do it right as some of the plastic trim is getting a bit brittle and will crack easily if I do it wrong.
    Thanks.

If it's the same as a VY, which I think it is, then take the two screws out of your jesus handle, and remove. Then work the trim forwards a little out from under the B pillar trim. If it doesn't want to come out forwards, then remove the small cap and screw above your seat belt ratchet and pull this trim out at the top, it just unclips.
The A pillar trim has two clips holding it down the side of the windscreen, just start at the one at the top, near your sunvisor, pulling straight out gently, then same for the one down nearer the bottom of the windscreen.
Once it's unclipped, work it backwards and out from where the dash and windscreen meet.
Just take your time and don't force anything and you should be right.

Don't blame me if you do break it, LOL.
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'

    @ DJP16
I did have a look there, but couldn't find anything. I'll have another search.
    @ VYMAD
I'm pretty sure they are the same too. Thanks for the info I'll give it a go and see what happens.

    Thanks again for the help.
