    Default Alternator

    A month ago I bought a new alternator as mine had had it then today I go to start my car and everything went off as if I had a dead battery and nothing turned on I waited five mins then everythingturned on and I could here a ticking could the alternator be dodgy ?

    Sounds like your battery is stuffed mate, Take it to a battery retailer and they can test it in 2mins and tell you if its rooted or not.
    Same thing happen when I replaced my Alternator.
