31/2in for vx v6"2000"

hey guys, hopin someone knows their stuff about xhaust system
i have a stock vx 6cyl. thinking of putting a sport system on
for a bit xtra fuel economy.my son bgave me the centre section of twin supercat mufflers @ 31/2in,says it came off a vt with a 6cyl.i put a 3in redback sport sys on my vl couple years ago.which was good."but" it was a straight 6.. i think 31/2in is too big,or could i reduce down
to 3in. thanks....

3 1/2inch for a standard v6???? dude thats way to big. i would recomend just using a single 2.5in lukey or if u have to, no bigger then a twin 2 1/4in at the most for a v6. no need for any thing bigger then that
