Sorry to go off subject, but would you have a pic of your VU on 15's mate?

Considering if I should go sl on my interceptors and keen to see if your ute sits even with only a small gap between rims!

straight up, FE2 is an inch higher then what you have, ultra lows are an inch lower.
stock shocks and FE2 springs will be fine.
stock shocks and ultralows is a shit ride, but its still fine. will flog the shocks after a while though so look at upgrading!

    Nice looking ute mate!

Is there much of a gap between the guard and tyre (couldn't quite tell from the angle shot)

I'm wanting to lower onto my 15" interceptors and don't mind having a gap if it's minimal.

Also, my ute sits a fair bit higher in the rear (possibly from the shocks the previous owner has put in?)

Does yours sit pretty even on superlows all round or do you notice this angle with your ute aswell?

theres hardly any gap between the tyre and guard. its a good height for the 15s. and mine sat high too with the origonal springs. all fixed now though

sounds like the kind of look i want with my ute mate!

so with your sl's all round does your ute sit even on stock shocks or still higher in the rear?

i'm just worried i'm gonna have to go ssl in the rear for the even look but concerned when i load stuff in the back!

If you go SSL's in the rear the rear will sit lower then the front. considerably, and you might have a hard time towing/loading stuff in the back.
If you go SL's, the rear will sit slightly higher then the front (will sit pretty well flush with a full tank of fuel).

cheers man, i know i've been asking a bit around this, just don't want to do the 'try and if i don't like, change' suggestion that mates had given me!

if i lower with sl's all round, i guess i might get away with having my stock shocks without camber kit am i correct? (from what i can tell my shocks seem decent monroes already)

yeah fair enough lol, nothing worse then having to redo stuff!
you will get away with stock shocks, eventually they will chew themselves out though (although ive had SSL's on stock shocks for 6 months and it runs fine). As you have a series II you already have the extra link in the rear end, so a camber kit isnt necessary (unless you can already notice mad camber) but with one you will have almost no camber.

try and ask around locally, and see if any of the suspension shops near you stock lovells springs. i know with some of the places here that stock them you can just point to where you want it on the car and they can set the springs for you.
