Default debadging gone bad.. need help

    hwy guys
i took off the 'commodore' and 'equipt' badges off my vx but for some reason the gloss has come off underneath it. its just left 2 rectangles where the badges used to be. i tried a cut n polish but it didnt do anything. it looks really crap and i really want it fixed.
    any ideas?

    thanks

Pictures? Pretty sure VX's have a clear coat, not a good idea to use cutting compounds on them.

Guess one way to fix it is stick the badges back on. Cheaper than a respray.

It's also possible that the car had already been resprayed and the badges were just masked up at that time. If there is a noticeable lip on the edge of the paint, then you only have two options.

    1. Rub back and respray the area, or the whole panel
    2. Replace the badges.
