Hey guys ive got a 99 vt with a clubsport kit on it. last week i got a flat tyre and when i jacked the car up to put the stocky on, it pushed the side skirt into the rear door and damaged my paint on my side skirt. i only have the stocky hand jack. ive checked around the car and cant see how i jack the rear end up again without damaging the sides. can anyone help me any idea on how to do it, with out damaging my car?
thanks dan.
did you use the proper jacking point where the little cutout bits are?
if so, only other way i can think is to use a trolley jack and lift it by the diff housing onto stands
Just attach the jack to the chassis rails about 6 inch in front of the back wheels... unless your kit covers the rails? If it does I would back the car up on some ramps and trim the kit back with an angle grinder.
Ive also wanted to know where to lift the back from with a trolley jack. so under the diff yeah?

From memory it shows you in the owners manual where the trolley jacking points are.
