broken pcv line

hi, i dont know too much about the goings on of the pcv lines and what not, but the line that goes from pass rocker cover to drivers side rocker cover and inbetween the two lines there is a y piece. keeping up with my poor explanation? anyway the y piece had a hole in it and was pretty oily, also there was another hole in the line that went to the front of the engine. what are my options, should a catch can go in place?

You should replace it... A catch can is not a fix for a broken peice of hose or a y-peice. The complete pre-VY2 PCV lines are $77 from Holden.
