VT 5 speed. Opinions?

Anyways,
Whats the opinions on a 2000 model VT S pack with a 5 speed in it?
Like, how do they go, run, etc etc.
I just sold my VS, and I'm about to buy a VT.

I've got a manual VX, I love it but the Getrag isn't a very good gearbox.

All VT S packs aren't auto? My mate has a manual, there just the same as SS and S in the VX, can come in both manuals and auto's. The VT is a good model but I much prefer the VX, Holden just seems to have fixed the faults of the Vt in the VX, and the black S interiors are heaps nicer. You can pick up a VX S pack for around $7000 and a VT for around $5500.

I own one, VT II last of them before the VX and it goes great guns no problems. Agreed though that the Getrag box it not the best or the strongest.

yep all L67's are auto.

there not as good as the t-56 but if your a p plater your stuck with a getrag :P

Ah, well that clears it up.
I just got a VT S pack for 5900, has a VX boot garnish and lowered etc etc, so im happy with it.

yeah, stock 5 sp, out of a car dealer, already got a 2.5 catback, into twin dumpies, ah, vx boot garnish, and vx R8 clubby rims.

its done just over 200 thou, so not that bad for an 11 yr old car.

yeah not bad. average k's per year are around 20,000-22,000 so times that by 11 and your car has done under average

yeah alright, deal fell through, the ####head decided against selling it, i got my money back. not in a happy state haha.
so now, im finding a VT wagon, found one i love.
VE GTS rims powdercoated white, looks amazing, and the wagzzz.
he wants 5000 plus my VS, im gonna take it definitely!
