    Default Xforce vs Pacemaker LS1

Hi guys had a talk with the guys from gentech in canberra today he was saying that the LS1 Xforce headders vs the pacemaker headders 4-1 there is very little dyno diffrence think the guys name was steve or somthing .Said the diffrence would be like 1-3 kw .
just wondering if anyone here has slaped a set of Xforce ones on there ls1 and does it seem much diffrent?
Would there be any diffrence with sound between the 2 brands?

just general question mate, noticed the Xforce are $150 cheaper then the pacemaker but like the old saying goes you get what you paid for wasent sure if that was true when it comes to the 2 diffrent types of headders

There was a shop that is a sponsor on the LS1 forums that did back to back runs with different headers, tri Y's and 4-1's. The difference on the dyno was bugger all, I think all the ones tested came within 5 kW of each other. The biggest difference in the design is the street feel and where the torque curve is. Tri Y's have a stronger bottom end, and 4-1's have a stronger top end, even then there isn't a lot between them.

One place, can't remember who, has an LS1 that does 10's with tri Y's.

IMO the biggest difference is the note. 4-1's will give a louder more distinct crackly note than tri Y's.

And for the record, I could do the Pacemakers for pretty close to the X Force price if you really wanted to change.
