vx sedan cat back exhaust help

hi all
looking at different 2.5 cat back exhaust systems for a 02 vx sedan and just had a few questions
1: do you need an enginieers certificate?
2: what is involved in installation: ie does anyone have a link with instructions for a diy install
3: do you think a 2.5 redback cat back with no resinator will sound good ?? also dont want it to be too loud only on my p's dont wanna attract attention from the wrong people if you know what i mean

1. no.
2. its not that hard if you can jack your car up.
3. you are better off with the resonator, will make it quieter but will give it a deeper note.

Thanks mate one more question might sound stupid but with the resonator on it won't be too quite will it? Defeating the purpose of new system? Cheers
