Hi everyone
With the common ABs module fault on the VT-VX, are the normal symptoms that the abs, traction control light appear with a error message on the dash?
When the abs module is disconnected does it also disable the cruise control and air conditioning along with abs and traction control?
Is there anything major that can go wrong if left disconnected for a while?
well for starters your insurance would prob be void, abs may not work and yes the normal symptons are the abs, trac and low trac lights coming up on the dash..
i had to replace mine a couple of months ago

get one off ebay, cost me 70 bucks to fix it and has never been better, was a simple 15min job to fix too
I think mine cost about $150 for a fixed one from eBay, only took a few minutes with a torx screwdriver to swap.

And That is the Fault in a Nut Shell...........First generation of the Traction control is plagued with Faults, everything from troughing engine lights, to just non responsive, and refusing to be turned on/off
If you do your research you will find a revised part number for your abs module.....This fixes known issues and updates programming within the unit.......2 distinct parts number, one is the faulty obselete model, the new one is the upgrade......
