Exclamation Water in front passanger footwell.

    Hey Guys,
bit of a problem with mt VT Series 1 Calais,
i noticed on the long weekend that there was some water on the front passanger footwell, and on saturday i noticed that it was socked. any ideas where the water is comming from???

The car is at the mechanics since monday (yesterday) heard back from him today and he said that there is no water comming in from the engine side of the car and is not the heater core.

    Help much appreciated (:

I had my windscreen replaced and had the same problem after having a very rainy weekend. Turned out it wasnt sealed correctly. Took it back and they used some kind of sealent, dont know what. But anyway it fixed the problem Although this happened within 3-5 days of getting my windscreen replaced so i wasnt charged anything of course. however i would imagine you might have problems since its been 4 or so months.

WHat i did to test exatly where it was dripping from was put paper towl on the carpet. Wet the car with a hose on spercific spots (aerial grommet, engine firewall, around window seals etc) till i saw the paper was wet. Also helps to have someone sitting in the car.

    Goodluck

Aircon inlet vents are common for water leak.. get under the dash with a torch and have someone wet the outside, only real way to see where its from
