hey everyone took a vt ss series 2 for a spin today and its due a service does the engine light normally come on wen its due a service or is it not ment to? cheers

Service alerts appear in the LCD on startup.
Engine light (Power Train) comes on when there is problem. If the engine light is on, it needs to go to a mechanic immediately. Could be indication of a serious fault, or could be nothing, but you don't want to risk it.

Honestly don't know, you would have to check the error codes to see what the problem is.
