hi everyone, i got a vx v6 and since last week, it started to have a tapping noise when revving or accelerating during the first 10 mins of running. i can hear it somewhere from the passenger side, and when i inspect it last weekend i found out that one of the left hand side manifold stud (back) was snapped! my question is, will it make a tapping noise if i have a broken manifold stud? and do i need to disconnect the engine pipe from the manifold before i can remove the manifold from the cylinder head? thanks in advance.
