    Default changing mirrors

    hey guys /gals is it hard to change the door mirrors from VX to VY is it just a straight swap?...been thinking of losing the shrek ears
    the good thing about getting older....more toysthe bad news more headaches

    nah not hard i have vz ones on mine looks heaps better just 3 screws might have to take door trims off at most

    That's pretty much it the VY - VZ are the same fitting as the VT mirrors just a different shape on the outside. Unless you can find some offset (right angled) screwdrivers it going to be quite hard for you to get to one of the screws just a heads up.

    Hi mate,

    When I did mine, I went to bunnings and bought a cheap set of angled drivers, about $5 for a set. I'm pretty sure Super-heap sell them too.

    cheers longman yep i think ive got some but if not i dont think 5 bucks will blow the budget that will happen when i get them sprayed lol

    haha true dat!

    Thinking about it now, I'm pretty sure they were $3 for the set, nothing special, but meant not pulling the door trim out!
