Bought a diff which i believe to be either out of a VY or VX clubsport manual, so is LSD 3.73 ratio.
It does not fit my statesman as the tailshaft in it is of the VT type (4 bolt metal on metal) rather than the 6 bolt rubber dampened style that the diff accepts.
I have been told to make the diff work I need the tailshaft from a VX/VY gen3 wagon,ute or statesman variant.
I have also been told i need the tailshaft yoke at the transmission end so that the trans will accept the new tailshaft.
My question is, how hard is it to install the 3 bolt yoke at the transmission, can i do it myself?

Bump, no one ever changed the slip yoke at the transmission?
