VY interior fit into VT?

Just wondering if a VY interior will fit into a VT with no drama's, is it a direct fit? It's just door cards, front and rear seats.

There's equal opinions for yes and no. I'd say do it, and put up a thread on how to do it (if it works) coz people ask all the time

My front seats aren't to good, few tears n stuff, so thought I might look around for some replacements. I found a cream colour VY calais leather interior which is why I said VY. If I don't get the leather interior I'll just find another set of VT SS seats.

the only issue i would imaging you'd come across is the electric adjustment on the drivers seat..
not to mention the memory settings on it.

Well me bro just bought a VT SS as well which I might pinch the seats from, ended up getting the VY Calais leather interior for his. Haven't fitted them yet, (only got them last night), but the electrics is the only drama I rekon, but got that sussed already.

The passenger seat was easy, just power and earth. The driver seat wasn't as easy due to all the extra wiring and the module for the memory settings...but, the passenger seat loom plugged into the driver seat makes it work fine, so gonna rip apart the original driver seat loom and make it identical to the passenger side. Won't have the memory, airbags or seatbelt pre-tensioners working, but that won't matter as the car doesn't have them anyway.

Will throw some pics up when it's done.

Rear seat and door trims fit no probs. Just the front seats to go, which should work.

Thx guys. Turns out the interior is VZ Calais not VY lol.

Here's some pics of the front seats in now too. Only thing we might need to add is the rest of the black panels so it all ties in 2gether. Not in a hurry, but yeah when we find a vt-vx with a black interior getting wrecked we might grab the interior panels.

Oh yeah and turns out the VT does have seat belt pretensioners so they're now hooked up too!
