vx v6 rough idle, surge,

hi all, new to this, wondering if anyone had any ideas as to why my vx v6 has started to run really roughly at idle, sometimes stalling when put in gear, and the instantaneous fuel burn desplay on the trip computer has gone from reading 1.6l per hour at idle to 1.0l per hour? i can hear a hiss at idle and it sounds like it is coming from behind the throttle body. could this be a vacuum hose? I cant locate the source of the hiss though, should I pull the hoses off and check? any special procedures? how much are new hoses? any help is greatly appreciated in advance, thanks

mate it might be ur IAC gone bad or the purge hose split under the throttle body. check it as my money on it..

Thanks for the replies guys, no it's not on LPG. What's the IAC? And is this bad to keep driving on? Thanks again

So I cleaned the IAC and throttle body but it was one of the hoses underneath the throttle body (I'm presuming the purge hose) that had come off at the other end that appear to have been the problem. Thanks for the help everyone, appreciated
