    Default Pacemaker extractors for VU R8

    Hey guys, i have recently purchased a VU R8 maloo, its stock standard so im after a set of pacemaker extractors for it and gonna get a 3" mandrel bent exhaust made for it, i just need to know what size/type of extractors to order and where bouts is the best place to order from, any help would be most appreciated, cheers

    1 3/4 4-1's i would buy them used personally being pacemakers there going to rust to shit anyway

    pacemaker are alright. difillipo are obviously the creme de la creme.

    Tri-y extractors give you more torque down low but apparently rob you of power up top. That's what I have and recommend as they're better for street driving.

    is there much difference between the pacies and difillipo? in terms of price, performance and quality?

    My pacemakers were $650 from memory.
    There's probably 3kw difference between the two brands, so I wouldn't bother.

    so pacemakers tri y's would be a safe bet then? im only really planning on doing heads, cam, OTR with full exhaust system and MAFless tune

    wouldnt bother with try'y's then go the 1 3/4 4-1's and a twin 3 or twin 2.5 exhaust

    I do Hurricane 4-1's for $645 plus $40 shipping. Comes with gaskets. Twin 2 1/2" Manta system is $650, and high flow metal cats are $595. All bolt on so you could do it all yourself.
