I want to change the dash in my VX... swap around... any thoughts?

All the new cars seem to have the stereo above the air con/climate control.
So i was wondering if this was possible to do this in my VX?

Im thinking of getting a new headunit (single DIN not double DIN like original headunit is)

So im thinking having the headunit on top, aircon below and a single DIN storage area below the aircon unit.

They say anything is possible but in this case I don't think it is. It would mean some major modifications and I doubt it would be practical. You would need to move the climate control panel down and move the stereo up and I don't think there is enough room depth wise to move the stereo up. I really don't think it would be worth the amount of work that it would involve and in the end, would it really look better?
