IMO you are much better going a duspeed OTR or similar, i think they would flow more.

im after whatever OTR will flow the most? just thought that the duspeed etc are often supplied with a smaller filter surface area that would be a little more restrictive?

Yep, agree with above love my ramjet they have the biggest filter (as far as i know) of the OTRs it takes a 100mm filter an most others take a 80mm filter . I also have driven in heavy rain, no problems at all.
They look like they should be there when setup right as well. RAMJET FTW
To the OP you can get them here: HOLDEN OTR COLD AIR INTAKE RAMJET VT VU VX VY VZ VE HSV | eBay

When i bought mine, the ramjet was all the rage desighned "specifically" to increase flow over the others on the market, i bet deep down you wish you had a ramjet ;p
prob not that much diff in flow but in my mind i know i did the best i could to improve intake.. the ramjet is a little dearer i beleive (could be wrong) which could make the others better value.
I must also add there is no way a ramjet otr could breath hot or warm air from the engine bay like some that sit under just on the top of raidiator, as its inlet sits way down in the front bar and in front of the raidiator, this is a b%$h to install though have to bend the air con raidiator thing to fit it properly into the vt-vx model anyway, but well worth it i believe..

I have a DuSpeed OTR and i only bought it because my tuner and others have said DuSpeed > Ramjet. To Ramjet was $50 more than the Duspeed and my tuner still said DuSpeed is the winner.

I just installed the Ramjet on my VY the other day; as matqld said it was a little bit of a PITA to install, got there in the end. I'm running mine with the MAF, little different though as I picked up a larger VZ MAF to use on the cheap. Definitely notice the power and sound difference, and as others said, it just looks like it was meant to be there.

Most of it goes underneath the front bar, just like the DuSpeed.

Also, just because it has a big filter surface doesnt mean it flows better. There is always a bottle neck somewhere.

The Ramjet and Dus both dip below the front bar and scoop up air, but in the end they are still being forced into that small mouth. From all reports the Dus and the Ramjet are both very equal in performance and when you look at them, I know I much prefer looking at the Dus, plus it looks a lot more stock.

Also, that photo, doesnt appear to be a Ramjet, unless theyve altered the design.
