    Question VT Dash Lights HELP

My sons VT Aclaim S2 has come up with these lights on the dash and the word ERROR when he starts it, the ERROR goes away after playing a little tune but lights still stay on, also temp gauge not working either... can anyone shed some (pardon the pun) light on this problem.

    TIA

That usually means you have a faulty ABS module but I have heard other say it could also be due to a bad earth or a low voltage. You can be pretty sure it will be the module though.
The air bag light could be a separate issue.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.

thats ABS, go to your abs module under the bonnet, disconnect the connecter on it, airbag, oil and engine light will go off, and you'll be left with low trac and traction off lights left on, also temp gauge will work again and thermo fans wont be going crazy, its a easy repair, can be fixed for $70 odd if you get one off ebay and takes no more then 15min to fix

You can also try cleaning the contacts on the ABS module. My VX is doing the same thing and a bit of wet and dry and electrical contact cleaner has made it operate again.
