Pretty self explanatory really. My mates car was overheating so I brought it home to check it out. Now, I'm not a mechanic, but mechanically minded, and checked all suspects. Oil and water were both down a little, so I topped them both up and then degreased the whole engine bay to see if there were any leaks. Since then it has not moved! I've flattened the battery and recharged it, blown dry all electrical components I could think of, including the coil and distributor. (Wasn't that fun!!) Its got fuel and there's heaps of spark coming out of the coil, but nothing at the plug leads.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be muchly appreciated.
Thanks, Phil.
replace leads and plugs?
Thanks for the reply. The thing was going like a cut cat on the way to my place, so I don't think ALL 8 plugs and leads would have died at once.
Check that the fuel pump is working mate
+1 for fuel pump...also change over ya fuel filter...and check to see if the injectors are all running alright
