The Brake lights on my VX Commodore are not working.Checked the fuse and it is ok.Light bulbs are fine too so assuming it is the switch.Never looked for it before and tried too feel for it and couldnt find it.Anyone have a picture at what i am looking for and what to do.If I take it too an auto sparky to do or roughly how much will it cost or is it easy to do myself?
Have to checked for power at the tail light plug? Maybe it's the switch under the brake petal ?
Hey mate,
Get under your steering wheel and look up where your brake pedal goes. You will see that the pedal has a plastic switch that's connected to it it should be white (may be different in a VX) that's what you're looking for.
If in doubt buy a rebuild car manual, as they're very handy lol
Cheers
