Hi guys, I hope that one of you can please help me with this, cause I'm pretty sure that I already know what the issue is and what I need to do to fix it but I just wanted someone to help clarify it for me.
I've got a VX Series II Berlina Gen III, and the indicators are playing up, basically they're working sometimes (flashing like normal), and then sometimes they're not flashing at all.
I'm assuming that it's something like the flasher unit that needs replacing, but I just wanted to make sure whether it's a relay that needs replacing, or is there is actually a separate flasher can like on older Commodores (when I say flasher can I mean the old style brushed alloy cans that look like a little coil?), or is it just a relay?
I had a look at the common faults for VX Commodores thread but I couldnt find anything that answered my question.
Thanks in advance
Hey scrano, its going to be the flasher unit in the fuse box under the dash. Just looks like a normal black relay. I've seen a few VX Commodores where the indicators come on and don't flash. So far the problem has always been that relay.
Hope that helped![]()
