ok my vx has started making this low buzz hum sound from the left i cant really tell if its from the front or rear
it doesnt get louder or faster as i drive and only starts at 60 or so but it dead quite at anything lower
is it tyres or bearing ?
from the wheel/brake area? or your engine/diff area?
Starin at the world through my rearview
Go on baby scream to God, he can't hear you
I can feel your heart beatin fast cause it's time to die
Gettin high, watchin time fly
possible buckled wheel
anyone have any idea ?
also i don't hear it first thing in the morning and it only starts at 60 and doesn't sound faster with increase in speed
doesn't get worse or better with turning
is there anything under the bonnet that can cause this low humming sound, worn pulley bearing? power steering ?
It's probably the poster in this Is having no mufflers bad? VX post in you're exhaust.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
Best to take you're belt off and spin each pulley to check for any noise, if they are going to make a sound it will be then.

ok
it's just this low hmmmmmm
nothing below 60
i'll get my tyres done front to back as they are directional and see if it helps
I Had a similar thing with the old VR, I could have sworn it was a diff whine, But after a new set of tyres, no longerI Think i know the sound, Is it sorta high pitched and does it change with the road surface ? I found Perfect Hot mix the worst.
if they r ur tyres normally u get that sorter road noise from direction tyres, r urs? more so on the fronts tho u as the shoulders start 2 get rised edges on them creating that road noise. usually swapping from front 2 back will wear them back down a tad but over a period of time tho.

Come to think of it, before my heads went i had a whine which i always believed was a pulley etc. Now the heads are fixed its gone........ could have been air or combustion gas hissing out of the head gasket etc.
My VT is doing the exact same thing, took it to Midas today and its the diff
