Just ebay a second hand one or call Commwreck in Condell Park. They will be able to help you.
I have one off a VS 3.8 although Im not sure if the modules are the same. If so, you can have mine cheaply.

Hmmm. I wasn't aware that a VT2 SS manual came with cruise control as standard. My VX GTS manual does come with cruise control. The next time I uncover it (good weather in Melbourne - maybe on Sunday/Monday) I'll check out the part number for you.

Sorry late back to thread lol, I got one sent up from Mount Gambier in the end. It was a BM part number cost 88 bucks and had to be from a 5 litre, doesnt matter about auto/manual. Also had to get the bracket that holds the cable in place. Went to
commwreck and got it out of an old stato. Works a treat, only downfall is i need to put in another release switch on the clutch pedal, rev'd to shit changing from 4th to 5th
