VX SS manual gear boot

Im looking to replace the gearboot on my SS as the plastic ring where it clips into the centre console is broken. Are the gearboots leather or vinyl on the VX SS?

Search eBay for replacements.. I got one with white stictching and stuff

Ah cool. Hawkesbury Valley Holden have them for $80 odd on Ebay.
JHP have a gear knob and gear boot for $227.

Is the gearknob easy to remove? Any tricks?

Lol I bought mine for like $50.

Just pull dude... Pull till it comes off and watch your face lol. Do not twist.

As above. Pull straight up off the shaft with no twist.
