VX SS stock exhaust

Hi guys,
Let me start by saying that i have searched the forum and LS1.com.au for an aswer but i have not found anything that is directly what i need.

Ok, intro first, long time reader, first time poster, just got a VX SS black 6SPD, love it
Ill be getting pacemakers, OTRCAI, LS1 edit in the next 2-3 months as my mechanic is on holidays and im a faithful sorta guy and wont let anyone else touch my junk hahaha

The question is, i currently have the stock exhaust fitted to the car, i want more sound so i was thinking of either removing the rear muffler or getting it swapped for something a bit free-er, i dont care about drone or hp at the moment as that will be sorted in the coming months and i dont care about spending $200 at a muffler shop to get it swapped out, the question is what will the car sound like?
obviously it will be louder but has anyone done it and posted a sound clip or something?

And before anyone says save your $$$ for the good exhaust, im impatient and want more noise now, i work up at the mines so i only drive the car every 3 weeks and im itching to get a new muffler as soon as i get back but as i said im waiting for my mechanic to get back so he can hook me up with the full exhaust at a special price (about 40% less then retail)

yep looked for one today, prob is nearly every single one is pick up only and none are in SA, got my eye on a HSV twin system cat back off a clubsport thats in adelaide...hopefully i can get that a good price

the HSV system will be virtually no difference is note. get a proper system.

Yep cool, im watching that one now, problem is i would have to pay for it using the account that the miss's knows about and i wouldnt be able to hide that much money hahaha
i got a seperate splurge account that only i can access in person at the bank so....

the orginal question was what do these engines sound like with the standard exhaust system with ONLY the rear muffler replaced with a sports muffler (hotdog or something)

my mechanic mate emailed me last night and told me its $700 (cost price) for the 2.5 twin exhaust with pacemakers from D&T (he used to work there) so i sorta wanna wait for that but as i said im impatient and was thinking of getting the rear muffler only replaced as its already got a hole in it......

Cut the rear muffler out and it will sound rubbish. Whatever you do, short of getting a proper exhaust done will sound shit, will be a waste of time and a waste of money.

I have this system on both my cars there straight through mufflers and resi, there a little quiet for the first week but once they wear in they have a great note and no drone, 4 into 1 headers are a bit louder than tri ys with this I noticed.
