its all possible, you will just need to make sure your head unit is compatible with your CD stacker, and you will need to buy a certain cord to keep your steering wheel controls working. its a common question so someone will come along and tell you what its called.

I dont mind the stock head unit but your exactly right I do want aux input and sub output! I know the sub can be installed with a converter however I want to be able to control the amp output via the headunit

well u can get the original unit fitted with an aux input and 2 x pairs of RCA's (front and rear) buy ASR only thing it doesnt have a dedicated sub output but it can b hooked up 2 work still. just depends how much u wanna keep the stock look aswell as keeping the steering wheel controls and stock stacker? the after market units just come out with more features so thats somthing 2 weigh up.

Most head units won't work with your stacker now. Stackers are dead. Steering controls you will have more chance.

I used aerpro wiring harnesses to hook up my aftermarket headunit and i haven't had any problems no need to cut into the factory iso harness
