hey guys..... my car is vx v6 150000km decided to cum again after flushing the coolant. this is the first flush after i noticed this shit under my rad cap a month ago.now the car still drives really smooth and beautifully,, no overheating at all,, no bubbles in rad, compression test negative,,, pressure test for coolant is negative,,, no white smoke or water from the tail pipe,,,, trannys oil flushed and no trace of coolant or water,,,,engine oil replaced too many times no trace of coolant or water,,, no milk shake is under the oil cap.... FOR JESUS SAKE CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT IS THAT THING UNDER THE RAD CAP??????????
another clear photo for the rad cap........................
Did you put in the pellets Holden recommend when you flushed the system? If so it could be that.
MY RIDE
I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
Intake manifold gaskets. The standard plastic gaskets are rubbish and start to degrade allowing oil into the coolant
its neither the head gasket or inlet lower or upper gasket coz the car drives smooth and no over heating at all + no loss of coolant.... i don't top up coolant at all....
Im just speaking from my personal experience here, but I had oil getting into my coolant for quite a while before I changed the my LIM gaskets. One of the LIM gaskets had started to degrade but the Car still ran good, no noticeable performance loss, no overheating, and only a very slight coolant top up of around a liter every few months. Its a common thing to fail so it might be worth thinking about once you have ruled out all the easier to check possibilities. Good luck with fixing it tho
I had the exact same issue, no over heating etc and rare coolant top ups, for about 6 months. But was still getting small amounts of oil into the coolant, ripped it apart to find a couple of the galleries clogged with sludge. New inlet manifold gaskets and it was perfect.

Mines in need of the same. i got one of them awesome inlet manifold gaskets off "mace". will outlast the car easy enough.
