I'm fairly sure it would fit, you could also try folding the ski chute down, winding the
passenger seat wayy forward and having it half in boot and half in the back?

Will fit no probs. I got a VZ SS bar into a VY SS no probs. VY a bit bigger than the VT but it had a bit of room to spare.

I've had a whole Clubsport fibreglass kit in my VX before, was tight as hell, and I couldn't see out my back windscreen, but I got it all it.

Fit's no problem I managed to fit a VX SS rear bar and side skirts into my VX sedan no problem and VX21 (member on here) somehow got the complete front, rear and side skirts all into his car and drove from Wagga to Melbourne that way.

place it through the driver's door so it sit's in the front passenger foot well over the center console and onto the back seat, don't bother going through ski shoot.

yea it'll fit, wind the front passenger seat down, one end in the foot well and the other end rests on the back seat behind the drivers seat.

    Last year I got:

    VE SS front bar
    VE SS rear wing
    2 x 20" wheels (with rubber on)

all in the cabin of a 99 Magna sedan. Thus a Monaro from bar in a VT should be easy!
