Default How do you remove the Air Temperature Sensor

So by the looks of it it has a one-way metal clip, where you can push it on but not remove it. I have a new sensor but not a new clip, so I have to preserve this one. But I'm having a hard time getting it off.

    Any ideas.

    Its an Ecotec.

Im pretty sure it supposed to be a one use only clip, i had alot of problems getting one out a vt recently, i got a seal pick and bent all the tangs up, clip was still useable but i would put a thin smear of 515 or silastic on it to make sure its air tight when you put the new one in.

Hmmm don't have a seal pick. My metal scriber should work OK instead.

I tempted to take my mini grinder to the sensor head of the old sensor so it will just pull out.
